Arthrosis

Arthrosis is a hurtful degeneration of a joint, caused by permanent intensive straining of joints; for example it often occurs with professional athletes, elderly and overweight people.

Arthrosis cannot be avoided at all, and it certainly does not help to stop exercising for fear of degeneration. However, the course of the disease can be positively influenced. The most important thing is cautiously-carried out, regular exercise without overexertion. Very often the fear of pain leads to lack of exercise and so a vicious circle begins, because in un-used joints the cartilage does not get enough nutrition and lose their elasticity. In addition, well-trained muscles relieve the joints.

Our eating habits also play a considerable role in terms of arthrosis. Medicinal mushrooms can help losing weight which noteably eases pain.

Shiitake or Reishi Lexikon (2x2 powder tablets per mushroom) as dietary supplement help provide the body with essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It is very important for full mobility to provide cartilage and joints with enough nutrition. Shiitake and Reishi Lexikon also provide important sugar-protein
compounds, out of which the body produces specific substances for connective tissue, sinews and cartilage; at the same time they contain a optimum amount of amino acids, which helps counteract degeneration of cartilage.
