The Coprinus comatus
is one of the few vital fungi, which effects had not been discovered by the traditional Chinese medicine, but in Europe. Here, it does not only grow in forests and on lawns, however, it’s often found in gardens and on waysides. This albuminous fungus, which possesses a great number of various minerals and micronutrients, is famous amongst gatherers for its asparagus-like aroma.

The Coprinus comatus
spreads itself by means of a black liquid, through which the spores, seated in the hat, drip on the soil. This liquid was used as writing ink, and gave this fungus its German name.
